Harakka Island, FI-00140 Helsinki.

Close to the centre of Helsinki by Kaivopuisto park, the island of Harakka is located between the islands of Särkkä and Uunisaari.

Transport

Harkka Island is accessible only by boat of Merenkävijät motorboat service. The ferry departs from Kaivopuisto waterfront Ullanlinna pier, adjacent to Café Ursula. See Journey Planner for route recommendation.

Accessibility

We do not recommend the island for people with impaired mobility. The Harakka Island ferry, main building and Nature Centre are not accessible by wheelchair, and visitors on the nature trail move in difficult terrain.
There is a toilet for disabled persons in its own building on the island.
